Soils & Mulches

All Soils and Mulches are sold by the Cubic Yard, pickup or delivery is available ("Big Bag" option is available). Soils & Mulches are presumed to be loose when delivered or picked up. If a Cubic Yard is too much, we also sell 1/2 Cubic Yards (pickup only).

KNOW THE FACTS!: 1 Cubic Yard is 3’x3’x3’ or 27 ft³
Other ways to visualize a Cubic Yard: 27 bags (1 ft³) or 5-7 wheelbarrows

Veggie Soil

A clay free mixture containing peat loam, sandy loam, compost and manure. This premium soil blend is native to the Holland Marsh area.
Best used for: New or existing flower beds, new or existing vegetable beds, repairing lawns with grass seed or sod, top dressing existing gardens and mixing into a composter.

Top Soil

Top Soil refers to screened local soil, not clay free.
Best used for: Grading or filling uneven ground, Top Soil is great for a base for fresh sod.

Cattle Manure

100% pure aged cattle manure, a natural form of fertilization.
Best used for: Mixing into existing flower and vegetable beds to fertilize and nourish.

Mulches

Organic ground cover available in red, black, and brown.
Best used for: Flower beds and around the base of a tree, to beautify and protect root systems from frost and drought.
